We've been having intensly melon colored sunsets in this past week of heat - pink like watermelon and the oranges of canteloupes. We have een able to see the daily growth in the garden. Now we wait to receivve rain, all the while contemplating irrigation in support of the later season crops - fall carrots, potatoes, beets, parsnips and cabbage growing in our ground.
The thirst to breathe the fresh air of the early morning is here. The passionate adventure of a farming lifestyle, thriving in the ecology of CSA members, farmers, land, weather and the greater community is aiding Dig Deep Farm in growing.
