The proficiency of our stride has lengthened with time, and man, it feels like we are in for the run!

The 2011 spring conditions, with the cool temperatures have been helping most things growing thrive.  We welcome the usual abundance of greens, typical of this time of year, and look forward to the plumping of the peas and blossoms on the green beans.

We invite yolu as CSA members, to contribute recipes for the seasonal produce.  As for us, a seasonal favorite has been steamed cooking greens (i.e. beet greens, kale, chard, brocolli raab) sauted in garlic and olive oil as a nightly side dish.  I encourage you to discover the pleasure of fresh herbs tossed in a green salad with a homemade dressing.

Enjoy the food!  It has been grown with many helping hands!  Next week's newsletter will include recipes for the month of June as well as some information updating you on the growth vision, and hope of Dig Deep Farm - all of which is taking shape with all or our efforts.

Thank you for caring about your food!
