Notes from the Field

The past few days have been great harvest weather, no sweltering employees.  The nights have been cool, with the kiss of frost in some spots.

This time of year restores my reverance for our lifestyle - working at dawn and dusk certain days of the seek offer some of the most beautiful colors - peaches and salmons; sunrises and sunsets.

I think we still have a bit of growing time left.  Our storage carrots are looking great, but would be happy with a little rain.

Having a puppy on the farm continues to bring balance and joy to allo.  He loves vegetables.

One week left!  Hope to see those that can on Sunday Octobver 8th 5 - 10pm for our wedding potluck and dancing.
