Notes From the Field

Hello everyone!

I recognize that in our full crop field plan we are introducing some new food items and also giving an abundance of crops that are happening now (ex. tomatoes and beans)

I highly recommend slicing the eggplan thin and brushing it with olive oil to grill, broil, or pan fry.

The Roasting Peppers, when roasted will vary in heat some sweet and others warm, mildly hot to the bite.

What's In the Bag

  • Salad mix
  • Arugula
  • Swiss chard
  • Chives
  • 2 golden and 3 roma tomatoes
  • 4 red round slicing tomatoes
  • Your choice: Fingerling spuds or Pie Pumpkin
  • Your choice: Eggplants, Roasting Peppers or sweet peppers

The mizuna from last week is related to pac/bok choi.  Use it as you will.
