Notes from the Field

What's been happening in the field has been an ongoing integration of 'reverance and practicality', as my farming friend Meg Phillips notes in regards to growing food and working with the seasons.

In the Tuesday morning flower picking we are in discussion on the ecological systems for annual growing cycles.  We share our admiration for plants and their will to grow by design - We enjoy helping one another grow emotionally as we celebrate play, joys, and hardships that we are journeying with.

We love to work.  We love to think about the science and art of soil and nutrition; we talk about timing and the acceptance of how things happen - allowing for adaptation and assimilating to the now in good fun!
