"Feeled Notes"

Every Harvest Day - usually Monday - we are greeted with openness.

The space that we nurture holds and releases much: nutrient dense food, genuine relationships, and a container for a lived cultural necessity through inter-generations and the sharing of knowledge therein.

Here at Dig Deep we are wrappijng up our fifth season; it's been an opportunity of reflection and expanse both in heart and mind and rippling within our CSA and local community.  Thank you.

The tru gift is that we've arrived here together - so with this a toast - "let's grow some food: Cheers to Season 5"

What's in the Bag

  • Salad mix or cabbage or 1 bunch kale and 1 bunch swiss chart
  • 2 choice peppers
  • 1 large and 2 medium yellow onions
  • 2 large leeks
  • 2 unwashed Kenyon Gold spuds
  • 1 acorn squash
  • 1 bunch mixed carrots
  • 2 green tomatoes

Your week 17 bag stocks you with greens, fall roots, and alliums.  Enjoy!  We left the potatoes unwashed for better long term storage ability - they are great in soups, baked, or roasted.  The acorn squash is a variety called Honey Bear - notable for its sweetness and deep yellow flesh.
