Notes from the Field

The community response to the soon-to-arrive baby (at the end of August - or between now and early September) has been incredibly sweet.  We feel immensely supported to bring a new life into the world.  We've received kindness, enthusiasm, gleanings of very helpful information, and lots of creative response to our hopes on creating an environment of well-being.  The farm has played a big part - from winter planning, into action, into what's happening.  As for the month - the dryness and time management over the past few weeks has compromised our salad mix production; head lettuce may be a better constant for us this season.

What's in the bag
  • 1 Cabbage
  • 1 head of lettuce
  • 1 quart of potatoes
  • 4 sweet onions
  • 1 pint of tomatoes
  • 1 parsley
  • 1 small bouquet

Enjoy the first of the summer tomatoes!  Flavor has been great!  We will have a different farm truck on the road soon - so I'll start to pass along the market responsibilities.  Please e-mail with any questions or concerns.

What's coming: Beans

Many thanks and

Dig Deep!
